DCTRA Videos from the past

Author: If someone wants a copy of the following DVD’s let me know. Cost will be just to cover DVD media. Note that Tom Pennell just delivered some additional tapes so we’ll look through those and see about converting them to DVD too.

3. 1990 DCTRA New Years Eve Party, 1992 DCTRA Campout at Tom’s Cabin & 1994 DCTRA Halloween, 1994 VTR Advertisment
4. DCTRA Christmas Party 1992
5. DCTRA Camping at Tom’s Cabin 1994 (about first 4 minutes), DCTRA Christmas Party 1994
6. 1981 San Diego British Car Day, 1984 (??) TRA West – Lake Havasu*
On the DVD’s with multiple segments I placed simple titles at the beginning of each section and made each section a separate chapter accessible from a menu.

Some highlights:
- Bev and Pete Peterson dressed as a shark and scuba driver singing “Tom Dooley” in the dark next to a tree with old Tom hanging by his neck. Plus lots of other DCTRA “characters” trying their hand at butchering the song too!

- Jim Hughes burning his mouth on some hot salsa.
- Jim Hughes, John Horton and Bob Schaller sitting around in the woods talking about TR’s.
- Lots and lots of video of TR’s rolling through winding roads.
- Virgil Cole singing the DCTRA Club song while playing the Guitar.

- Of course seeing all the much younger looking (and still current) DCTRA members at the Christmas and New Years, Elections and Triumphest from years past is a bit of a hoot too.

Absentee Ballot
Official On-line ballot for the upcoming DCTRA Election of Officers to be held at the Annual January Election Brunch on January 17, 2009. This ballot only includes the ability to vote for the contested offices.
On-line absentee balloting will close at 9am on 1/17/09
If you are planning on attending the Election Brunch and fill out this form you may replace this electronic ballot with a physical one at the Brunch which will be used at that time to replace this electronic ballot.
