I am using Kendall 20W-50 in both of my TR250 engines since mid-summer. One is a new engine and has 50 miles on it and the other has 36,000 miles on its cam with about 1000 miles on the Kendall. The store which recommended the Kendall dissed the Valvoline claiming it breaks down. I have used Castrol 20-50 and 10W-40 ( winter ) exclusively, prior. So far I can only report that hot oil pressure is higher than with the Castrol. Does anyone know if the Kendall has the ZDDP we want?

I read your report on is oil killing our cars. One oil you failed to mention is Brad Penn. The Brad Penn Penn Grade 1 racing oils do have the ZDDP additive. This is the old Kendall GT-1 racing oils. Check the website www.Bradpennracing.com. Be careful because Shell Rotella is now an API CJ-4 product with lesser amounts of zddp, and many of the oils you have listed are API SM, means no zddp. Many of these oil makers will tell you there product will work, but you will have problems sooner or later. Check out the API listing on the back of the bottle,if it's SL or SM it will have little or no zinc in the oil. The lack of zddp is hitting many older vehicle engines very hard and getting the word out is problem, alot of folks are finding out the hard way and putting out thousands of dollars to replace a motor. Pass the word on you'll make a friend out of it.
